Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to figure it out alone.

I specialise in working with minds in hyperdrive, particularly:

  • People with ADHD - or those wondering if they might have it - who are navigating
diagnosis, low self-esteem, procrastination, burnout or relationship struggles.

  • People experiencing anxiety in any form - whether it's
health anxiety, fear of death, relationship worries, sleep anxiety, or everyday stress that just won't let up.

You are in the right place if any of these applies to you…

  • You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and rehearse scenarios that never happen - driven by a constant fear that something will go wrong and you won't be able to handle it.

  • You've cancelled plans, avoided calls, and talked yourself out of things - not because you didn't want to, but because the uncertainty of what might happen felt like too much to face.

  • You can't focus, and you can't stop. Your mind is leaping from one thing to the next - not out of curiosity, but out of a need to escape itself.

  • You make plans. You break them. The day unfolds without you, and by midday, the guilt has already set in and ruins everything that follows.

  • You've been told you're too sensitive, too much, or not trying hard enough - and part of you has started to believe it.

  • You live under the weight of regret - the morning you wasted, the potential you haven't lived up to, and the person you keep promising yourself you'll become.

With someone who's lived it - and found a way through

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

A young woman with short brown hair, glasses, and a black blazer smiling in front of a bookshelf filled with books.

I know what it's like to live with anxiety and ADHD - not just as a therapist, but as someone who's been there. For much of my life, I moved through the world exhausted, carrying a quiet sense of shame about who I was. Therapy changed that. It helped me find my way from that place of depletion to one of energy, joy and self-acceptance - and knowing that from the inside shapes the care I bring to this work.

My training spans Psychology of Mental Health (MSc), Psychotherapy (PGDip), and Philosophy (MA), and I bring all three together in my practice. I draw on a wide range of therapeutic traditions, with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Existential Therapy at its core. I also blend in insights from behavioural science and coaching to help changes take hold beyond the therapy room.

Before training as a therapist, I spent over ten years working with the UN with some of the most vulnerable populations in conflict-affected countries. That work gave me something I carry into every session: an empathy for our shared suffering and a belief in our resilience.

HOW IT WORKS

From feeling stuck to moving forward

Lasting change comes from two things: a relationship built on trust and compassion, and the right tools, tailored to you.

I create a space where you feel heard, accepted, and able to explore what’s going on. From there, we work through three simple but powerful questions:

What’s keeping you stuck?

We look at the patterns and habits - especially mental habits - that are keeping you stuck.

01

What matters to you?

We get clear on your values, what makes you feel alive and what kind of life you want to build.

02

How to get there?

We build practical habits and ways of responding that work with your brain and help you move forward.

  • From the very first session, Emily made me feel completely at ease - warm and genuinely present. She really understands ADHD, but what stood out most was how she never assumed my experience would be like anyone else’s. With her support, I felt much less overwhelmed by my uni coursework and started to feel more in control of my time and effort. I’ve also made peace with the years I spent feeling like I was falling short of my potential. Thank you, Emily :)

  • I really enjoy our sessions and feel genuinely listened to. The way we looked at my anxiety cycles really clicked and has made a big difference.

  • I really appreciated you taking time to understand what I already tried and why didn't work for me. I had therapy before but always I felt my previous therapists didn't take my words seriously and just imposed what they believed would work on me. You made me feel like changes were actually possible after losing hope for a long time. What I was doing before was just not designed for people with ADHD and like you say we must find way to work with our brain, not against it!

  • I’d always been an anxious person, but becoming a mum sent my anxiety through the roof and I started having panic attacks. Emily helped me understand that pushing away my frightening thoughts about my baby getting hurt was only making things worse. After working on how I respond to anxious thoughts and feelings, I’m able to enjoy my life again - especially my time with my baby. I really appreciate the sense of humour Emily brings to our sessions. I look forward to them every week.

Finding the Right Therapist

I know how daunting it can be to find a therapist you feel able to open up to, and how essential that sense of trust is for effective work.

I offer a free call to see whether we are a good fit. If I’m not the right therapist for you, I’d be happy to support you in finding someone who is based on what you need.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.
